Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Like every church, Christ Community Church could not function without its volunteers. Some volunteer positions require membership in the church, and some positions require a particular calling to the office that is acknowledged by the congregation through an affirmation process and the drawing of lots (such as elder or deacon). Nevertheless, there are all kinds of ways to get involved. If you are a member of Christ Community Church, you are welcome to join any of the Council Teams.

Volunteer FAQ

Who do I talk to about offering special music?

The Worship Team is always looking for people to offer special music during Sunday morning worship that will give glory to God and edify the congregation.  If you are one of those people, contact Josh Aschenbach by clicking on the link below. Please contact Josh at least two weeks before the Sunday you are offering special music.

How do I volunteer with children's ministries?

If you have been gifted with the ability to interact well with children and you are looking to get involved, we encourage you to contact the Youth Team leader. While many of our children's ministries require church membership to be directly involved with children, there are ways for people to be involved in children's ministries without being members.

How do I volunteer to be a part of the praise team?

Our worship leader, Josh Aschenbach, is always eager to find people who are willing to get involved with the praise team that leads worship on Sunday mornings. If you would like to be involved, Josh would like to hear from you. You can send him an email by clicking the link below, and he will get back to you as soon as he can.

How do I volunteer with the youth group?

One of the most challenging places to be in the church is with our Youth Group. People involved in youth ministries quickly realize that they are on the front lines of the spiritual battle field, and their help is critically needed. Satan never stops attacking. If you feel called to volunteer with the Youth Group, click on the link below to email our Youth Leader, Katie Gabrielse.
